Custom Instruments
I primarily build finely crafted, steel string acoustic guitars. I'm happy to build with any high-quality tone woods, but I often feature Native Texas Mesquite and various reclaimed woods in my guitars. A niche that has developed over the years is reclaiming woods and various other elements out of old discarded pianos, incorporating them into my guitar builds. Examples include using the piano soundboards and their braces for guitar tops their braces, upright piano backposts for guitar necks and bridge patches, ivory keys covers for fingerboard and other inlays.

Customization options
Nearly anything can be customized on your instrument such as inlays, laser engravings, electronics, bridges, bindings, headstock, fretboards, tuners, the guitar's shape and specialty wood types. Check my pricing page for many of the custom options available.
